interface, and to read the recorded files (Read-only).
Functions include:

and copy the file to other folder, etc.
Directly select the camera memory from the camera utility software, or
general applications to open the file recorded by the camera as JPEG file.
2. System Requirements
* Macintosh : Apple iMac, PowerMacintoshG3
(preinstalled with operating factory USB port as standard)
* Operating System :Å@MacOS 8.5 or later
(File Exchange should be active.Åj
* Available Memory Space : More than 1MB
* Connection Cable : Proprietary USB cable for RDC 5000, which is
included in the camera package.

and set the mode dial to "PC" mode.

* After you confirm that there is no communications between camera and Macintosh,
drop all the camera icons, which are mounted on desktop, to "Trash", and turn the camera
off, or set the mode dial to other than "PC" mode, or disconnect the USB cable.
c. Driver uninstallation procedures
* Delete the icon "RDC-5000 USB Driver" in the Extensions Folder.
4. Restriction
* Because this is Read-only driver, you cannot format, or delete the image files
in the camera or write files to the camera.
* It is required to format Smartmedia by the camera formatting function.
* It is recommended to use the AC adapter rather than battery.
When camera is turned off while operation, data may corrupt.
* The camera doesn't work with the power supplied by USB port.
* Because camera file is in DOS format, it is required that File Exchange,
which is provided by Apple, should be active to access the media having these formats.
This driver's functions are limited in the range of File Exchange specification.
* Flash /Self timer lamp of camera will blink while connected.
Do not interrupt transmission (such as disconnecting the USB cable, or
turning the camera off) to prevent Macintosh from becoming frozen.
* If the camera is disconnected (such as disconnecting the USB cable, or turning
camera off) before dropping the camera icons to "Trash", camera icons may left
on desktop. Drop the icon to "Trash", and do not double-click the left icon because
it makes Macintosh freeze.
* Be sure to use the USB cable that is included in the camera package.
* In case of connecting to USB via HUB, or USB devices, it may not work correctly.
* It may not work correctly when the system environment such as Operating System
is inappropriate.
* We do not support USB ports connected via expansion devices such as PCI bus, etc.
